This device is for indoor use when the temperature is well maintained.
The K-1 is designed to be used only with Cuneatic security control. Linking it with devices from other makers may cause damage.

CHOOSE A PROPER PLACE
Usually, the K-1 is installed on the wall, at a height of 1.5-1.7 meters.
You can install it at the entrance (indoor side) of your home, or at any other places you want.
Meanwhile, the K-1 must receive power and data from the security control, so K-1 should be installed with 100 meters from the control. The protocol between the control and the K-1 is 485. Our standard pack includes connecting wires. If the wires are too short for you, you can buy the extension wires from us, or from your local market.
