SR-2 wireless siren, a peripheral device of CUNEATIC wireless security system, sounds when your security system reports alarms. 

This siren is only for indoor use when the temperature is well maintained.

Notice: this siren is not a water-proof device.

 

Usually, old-style hardwired sirens can only be installed closely to the system control unit, thus they are easily to be found and then ‘muted’ by the intruders. 

But this new wireless siren is flexible for installation - it can be installed any place difficult for the intruder to access.

An optimal installing place meets:

a) the siren can be heard by other people, such as your neighbors

b) difficult to be accessed by intruders

c) convenient to supply power to the siren

 

To avoid interference, keep this siren away from electromagnetic field, radio emitter, refrigerator, massive metal body, and microwave oven. 

 

Test the siren again after installation (see above ‘close the case and test’). If the siren doesn’t work properly, the reason may be the wireless signal becomes too weak between the siren and the system control unit. You should:

1) choose a closer place to install (a small move may improve the signals a lot), or,

2) use a repeater to extend the wireless signals
