A cuneatic home security system consists of two parts ¨C terminals and the control.
Terminals are various motion detectors, magnetic contact, smoke detectorsˇ These devices detect environmental change and then send digital data to controls by modulating meaningful wireless signals.
The control receives and processes data from the emitters, and then, according to current security status, takes proper reaction. Controls have two reporting modes ¨C some controls report alarm message to telephone numbers preset by users (in voice message. Called independent mode), and some report to both telephones and central station (in digital format. Called networking mode).
Through public telephone system, central station is linked with controls, which may locate in thousands different sites. A central station receives digital alarm messages and maintenance data from controls. Together with address and contact information, alarm messages are displayed in details on the screen of the central station, and service persons can analyze, record alarms, or maintain the system. |
